Dive into the heart of the National Park "Calanques de Marseille"
Located in Cassis on the Mediterranean coast, close to the second most important French town Marseille and its international airport, the scuba diving club 'Narval Plongée' offers you unforgettable dives into magnificent sites and ship wrecks. Would you be PADI, FFESSM, SSI, CMAS, IANTD or from another federation, you will find at 'Narval Plongée' a welcoming and reliable centre where you will be able to do all types of scuba divings in complete safety.
Narval plongée welcomes you 7 days a week, from the 15th of March to the 15th of December.
The new structure of the 'Narval Plongée' is in continuity with the ones that have preceded it for many years. Its goal is to offer to advanced divers, as to beginners, a premium and personalized service which makes it possible for them to enjoy their immersions according to their scuba diving level, but also to go on training if they wish to. The reception in the club is very meticulous, because one needs to knows the motivations and wishes of each diver to suggest them dives which correspond to what they want. The choice of diving sites is done according to the weather of course, but also according to the features of the different divers in each trip. Only one diving trip is organized on the morning. It is reserved for the advanced divers. Only one trip is also organized on the afternoon, which is a bit more reserved to trainings and to less experienced divers. Double rotations system is banned to allow everyone to enjoy the beauty of the landscapes, underwater as well as on the boat. The diving teams are formed by taking into account everyone's whishes, security rules set by the French legislation, but also the requirements of each type of certificate. A security briefing and a description of the diving sites are done before each diving trip.
Cassis - A Provencal village
Before and after the dive, enjoy an outstanding setting: Cassis and its creeks. Here, the Mediterranean Sea is pure and clear and the coastline is preserved.
Entrance to the 'Côte d'Azur' on the Méditerranée, Cassis is easily accessible by plane (Marseille-Provence airport), by train, and by car. Located near a highway exit, Cassis is, for example, about 6 hours from Geneva with highways only.
With 7600 permanent inhabitants, Cassis is a large typical village of Provence. In its historical center, wandering the streets, you will taste the enchantment of a small Provençal harbour which managed to preserve its authenticity and personality.
